Jeff Seaver Work

Jeff Seaver is a designer, artist and writer. He lives and works in Westport, Connecticut.

An illustrator and art director for over 35 years, his clients have included Smithsonian, The New York Times, National Geographic, Time, American Express, Fortune, CBS, Readers Digest, Sony, IBM, Scholastic, and many others. His work has won awards and been shown in The Society of Illustrators, Communications Arts, The Art Directors Club, The Andy Awards, The United Nations, Print, Art Direction, and Graphis.

He has been a guest instructor and lecturer at many major art schools including SVA, RISD, Pratt, Carnegie Mellon, Philadelphia College of Art, Parsons and the San Francisco Institute of Art.

He is a past president of the National Graphic Artists Guild, and throughout his career has been involved in organizing and educating the arts community on issues of intellectual property, pricing, negotiations and business education. His journalism articles on business practices in the arts have appeared in numerous industry trade publications including Communication Arts, Art Direction and Print Magazine.

A passionate computer enthusiast since 1967 when he first learned programming on a mainframe computer, he now runs a web design and internet marketing firm in Connecticut.
